Any info on how frequently the OER textbooks are updated?
Brooks Winchell

Hi Roxanne, It depends on the resource and creator I would say. Some of the more organized sites like OpenStax regularly updates textbooks.

Anthony, when a book is purchased and now "owned" by CC, could that book link be put in Canvas or Jenzabar LMS?

Could you give us the link for what sounded like pressbooks?

NEIB has a document with links to OER resources. Brooks is going to upload those to MyCC.

What would be most useful is if the presenters can do a short, “annotated bibliography” with the URL and a sentence or two about what the OER site does/is useful for. Having that as a “tipsiest” that we can download and keep where we can remember that it exists would be really useful!

Agree!

Hi Roxanne, we had created a libguide that has many of these resources, but I agree that a short list of each of these resources with a short description would be useful. I will meet with the group and see if we can pull that together. Thanks for the suggestion!

Sorry, that was “tipsheet” before autocorrect got ahold of it. We need a separate, gathered together and separate from Chat list of these great resources.

Attached is a Word document that you can download from here. This is the one that Brooks is going to upload to My CC.
